We are a contemporary community of people from all ages and backgrounds who love Jesus and love people.
Destiny Church provides a positive, joyful, faith-filled environment where people can connect with each other, find faith in God and discover their purpose and destiny in life.
We are a community of people whose lives have been transformed by the amazing love of God. We partner with God and each other to take the truth and love of Jesus out to our community and beyond to the nations.
We are an open church who would love to warmly welcome you to one of our Sunday gatherings.
We invite you to join with us as we journey together in this life of faith in God.
WHAT AN AWESOME PLACE THIS IS! IT IS NONE OTHER THAN THE HOUSE OF GOD THE VERY GATEWAY OF HEAVEN!
REVIVE RAISE RELEASE
Not perfection, rather reflecting Gods glory in all we are entrusted with, resulting in praise, honour and glory to God.
We believe the best in others by recognising the glory of God in their life without stumbling over what they are not.
We have a readiness to give over and above what is necessary, refreshing those around us while being abundantly blessed ourselves.
God with us; it’s because of who He is we experience transformation in every area of life.
In Him we live and move and exist!
Our interactions with others are opportunities to share life, hope and love, creating a place for all to belong.
Loving the people that God has surrounded us with, is essential to loving God Himself and shows that we are His.
Being founded in the word, we are truthful and genuine, living what we believe, cultivating an environment where trust can grow.
We are dedicated to effective exchanges of information, resulting in healthy relationships. Communication is key.
Destiny Church was founded in 1977 as the Caboolture AOG Church by Pastor Nev. Neilson & his brother. They later requested Northside Christian Family to assist in the work and Graham Corney who was a Solicitor, Elder & Administrator at Northside was appointed to assist where needed. In 1979 Northside purchased 10 acres of land in Caboolture where the present Church is located. It was about 1979 when Pastor Terry Peterson was appointed the Senior Pastor & financially supported by Northside.
Over the following years the Caboolture Church grew and repaid the land cost back to Northside. In 1989 Pastor Michael & Karen Mackerell were appointed as Senior Pastors. The church continued to thrive under their leadership seeing many come to faith and genuine Christian community strengthened through the establishment of small groups (originally called "cells") which remain the core of the church fellowship to this day. Touched by God's heart for the nations the Church has sent out and supported many missionaries to Europe, Central Asia, Asia and Australian Indigenous Communities. During the 90's the Church embarked on a debt-free building program which saw the existing building gradually erected and eventually opened in 2003.
In 2000 the church took the new name of "Caboolture Christian Church". Then, in 2011, after a season of God visiting His church in a fresh and powerful way, the church adopted its current name "Destiny Church". This name reflects the way in which we see God unleashing people into their destinies by encountering them with His love, His truth and His presence. In 2015 leadership of the local church was handed over to Greg Coleman. Greg together with Wayne & Sue Uhlmann form the current Vision Team that oversee the life of the Destiny Church family.
Destiny Church is a member of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC, formally known as AOG) which currently has over 1,000 churches in Australia. All our Pastors are ordained through this movement.

That the Bible is God's Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.
In one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
That sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
That the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
That in order to receive forgiveness and the "new birth" we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
That in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.
That God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfill our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
That God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.
That our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
That the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
We believe that children are a gift from God. When we dedicate our children to God it is a public declaration of that belief, and our commitment to set a good example for our children of how we follow Jesus.
We provide regular opportunities for you to dedicate your child during designated church services.
If you prefer a smaller gathering, we encourage you to consider dedicating your child with your family and Life Group at a location of your choice.
For further information feel free to contact us to discuss your options.
Jesus established water baptism as a commitment opportunity for believers when he gave the Great Commission message in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:16.
Water baptism is far more than a ritual or religious exercise; it's a public, outward declaration that reflects a personal, inward faith. It associates the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and signifies the believer's death to the old life and his or her resurrection as a new creation in Christ (Romans 6:1–8; Colossians 2:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17).
